Keep your affair text-free
A new Australian survey has found that a quarter of cell phone users have discovered, through text messages, cheating partners.
A recent poll was conducted by Australian phone company Telstra Corp, showing that one in five folks have sent a text message meant for their partner or lover but to somebody else by mistake.
The “State of the Nation Report,” surveyed 1,200+ mobile phone users on their daily mobile phone habits.
Other findings included that one in three people prefer texting to other forms of communication. 15% admitted that sacred events, such as a funeral, a wedding or a christening ceremony, were not off limits.
“Texting has become an indispensable part of our everyday lives,” Glenice Maclellan, Telstra consumer executive director, said in a statement.
